8th Grade Reading:
Bellringer- Collect/Distribute Reading Logs
Assign:  Seven Daughters and Seven Sons, pages 141 - 167;  quiz on Tuesday

6th Grade Reading:
Bellringer- DEAR;  Collect/Distribute Reading Logs
Work completion on Earth Day I -movies, e-mailed to Mrs. Larson AND  Mr. Hough due Tuesday

6th Grade Language:
Bellringer- Seating chart change
Thursday assignment discussion from Don't You Know There's a War On?
Assign:  Don't You Know There's a War on? to the end of the book with questions

7th Grade Language:
Bellringer- Independent and Subordinate Clauses
Assign:  Clauses- page 112/113 due Tuesday
Workday for research final project; due on Wednesday with presentations of Friday.

TUESDAY:
7th Grade Reading: 
Bellringer-  vocabulary check for completed assignments and word read aloud.
Chapter 4 workday with questions; chapter 4 and questions due Wednesday at the beginning of the class.


8th Grade Reading:
Bellringer- 141 - 167 reading quiz
Assign:  168 - 192, read and answer comprehension questions, due Wednesday.


6th Grade Language:
Distribute the fact sheet and go over directions.
Mr. Hough will put up each of the presentations on the SMART board.

7th Grade Language:
Collect Independent/Subordinate Clause Worksheets.
Follow the links at the top of the page beginning with Quotation Marks Defined followed by quotation mark practice.
Assign:  Quotation mark worksheet; due Wednesday.  Final project for research paper is also due Wednesday.


WEDNESDAY:
7th Grade Reading:
Chapter 4 vocabulary quiz.
Turn in Chapter 4 worksheet then review in class.
Begin work on Chapter 5 vocabulary;  due Thursday.


8th Grade Reading:
Begin work on the final section of the book Seven Daughters and Seven Sons with comprehension questions;  due Thursday.
Discuss material that will be on the FINAL test.


6th Grade Reading:
Discuss tales and folktales; begin reading How the Milky Way Came to Be with comprehension questions to guide understanding.
Brainstorm other Pourquoi tale topics.  


6th Grade Language:
5 minute review for Don't You Know There's A War On?  unit test

7th Grade Language:
Creative projects from the Research Paper are due today- turn them in at the beginning of the class.
